#Dance the dona dona full
This Studio is full of talented, unique students from all over the South Shore, and this is an amazing opportunity to see the accomplishments of your peers and fellow music lovers! My email is so at any time please feel free to send me any accomplishments in or out of the Studio, or even something as simple as a song you have been loving recently! Any and all submissions are welcome. I am so excited to say that this will continue for the 2019-2020 winter and spring semesters in order to keep you all updated on Studio events, amazing student accomplishments, and Chorus/ A Capella activities.
I have been studying music with Dona including voice, piano, Chorus, and A Capella lessons, and have the honor writing and editing this newsletter as it was published bimonthly last year. Happy official fall Studio families and musicians! As I am sure some of you know from last year, my name is Sofia Clifford and I am a junior at Norwell High School. From the Dona Maher Studio, we hope the end of your summer is filled with relaxation and good music, starting with our virtual recital today! I know that it is not the same as gathering in the beautiful performance hall at the James, but we promise this music is just as beautiful through a screen. So, below we have a collection of videos of students performing their planned Spring Recital pieces, as well as pieces they have learned throughout the summer. Many of you have been practicing and having virtual lessons with Dona, and we could not begin the Fall/Winter Semester without showcasing these beautiful pieces.
Happy Labor Day, Studio Musicians and Families! From the Dona Maher Music Studio, we hope you are all healthy, safe, and relaxing as the sun is out and this “new normal” is still pretty crazy! As I move into my senior year of high school, I know how challenging virtual classes and schoolwork have been, but hard work pays off both educationally and musically.
